While researching what it would take to put a 4.0 liter Land Rover V8 into an RX-7 (don’t ask), I stumbled across this page. A Land Rover repair shop owner redid his friend’s battered old Land Rover for free, without the owner’s knowledge.
The first page, describing the condition, is priceless. And I quote: “The good news is that the heater will be easy to remove as it just fell out of the Rover.”
